Hello,
I have tried to get pgAdmin 4 running on ubuntu desktop, but the default
installation steps result in a not working pgadmin4 (Installation steps:
https://wiki.postgresql.org/wiki/Apt)
After installing I get the following error:
> $ pgadmin4
> Python path: "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages"
> Python Home: ""
> Webapp path: "/usr/share/pgadmin4/web/pgAdmin4.py"
> "Failed to launch the application server, server thread exiting."
Postgres version: postgresql-11 (11.7-2.pgdg18.04+1)
Repository: http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt bionic-pgdg
It appears that the installation does not initialize a virtualenv for
python?
Thanks!
Best regards,
Paul
