The following bug has been logged online:
Bug reference: 1967
Logged by: tadayoshi sato
Email address: tsa1953(at)ace(dot)ocn(dot)ne(dot)jp
PostgreSQL version: 8.0.4
Operating system: WindowsXp ,Linux (redhat9)
Description: Respons(Binary) is not correctly by PQexecParams
Details:
When character-string data is demanded with PQexecParams in the binary, it
is not correct.
However, character-string data is a server: EUC-JP and client: It is
SHIFTJIS.
It is because it is not NULL stop though the cause passes the character
string to convert the code in pq_sendtext.
