Hi Marek,
A new 1.2.0 version of PL/Java is in the making. I hope to release it by
the end of this week. This version will of course be targeted at the new
8.1.0. It will also maintain backward compatibility to 8.0.3 and newer.
Support for 7.4 is discontinued though. Those who want to remain on 7.4
must also remain on PL/Java 1.1.0.
1.2.0 will have support for IN/OUT parameters. Other then that, there's
not that much new stuff. Nevertheless, PL/Java has been improved
significantly when it comes to stability and memory consumption.
I will provide precompiled binaries for Windows and Linux (both running
32-bit x86) using a standard Java VM. A source bundle will of course be
available too for those who want to use other platforms or GCJ.
Kind regards,
Thomas Hallgren
