Not sure this is apples to apples? Rdbhost seems to be
postgres-as-a-web-service which is not the same as postgres-as-a-service
inside a particular hosting facility. Wouldn't the WAN aspect make
rdbhost untenable for most traditional web apps?
Amazon's MySQL setup is like running your own MySQL server but without
being responsible for any of the management, backup, scaling, etc.
