Re: interest in this list?

I'm relatively new to this list, and have been lurking.

I've been involved in a number of Open Source lists, and suggest that it
might be more appropriate to maintain an Australian list, or
Australian/New Zealand list (rather than Sydney only), which I expect is
more likely to attract sufficient traffic to ensure the list is a
valuable and sustainable communication channel.

I'll answer Philip's email about training in a separate thread.
