Since you asked for it, I created a gist that documents how to generate the shortest path between the New York Times’s 52 Places to Go in 2017.
You can see it here: https://gist.github.com/darrell/9f3e49c3e90399575ae54641173caa5d <https://gist.github.com/darrell/9f3e49c3e90399575ae54641173caa5d>
Comments and suggestions for clarification are appreciated!
Also, I realized I mis-spoke about the time saved in my example by taking advantage of my indexes. I said it went 26 hours to 2 hours – that was wrong. It went from 26 hours to 17 minutes.
Thanks for having me last night. I hope I didn’t ramble too much, or try to cram too much in.
See you all again soon.
Darrell
