Picking this up again after a discussion on Telegram:
The page /developer/summerofcode/ is outdated, and
lists only the 2018 GSoC. Google removes old GSoC projecs, so we don't have
a chance to find mentors and projects for previous years (short of everyone
looking into their mailboxes).
My vote is to remove the entire page.
The alternative is gathering the data for other years from every mentor.
