Hi,
i have downloaded it with the cygwin package, and got it running. From the
cygwin homepage download a small installer, start it. It enables you do download
the binaries or do an internet based installation. Select a source mirror,
select the additional packages:
postgresql 7.2.1
crypt 1.0-1
cygipc 1.11-1
readline 4.2a-1
libreadline5 4.2a-1
zlib 1.1.3-6
cygwin 1.3.10-1
If you have downloaded first, invoke the installer again for installation.
In
...\cygwin\usr\doc\cygwin\postgresql-7.2.1.readme
is a detailed intstruction list for the next steps.
hth,ulli
