I was thinking the a title on the main page reading something like:

"Supporting worlds most prolific open source database community."

would be more inline with the focus and goals of US PostgreSQL Association.

Any thoughts?

Vibrant sounds good, and it implies alot of applicable connotations.

Thanks Selena.

Now looking at :"Supporting the world's most vibrant PostgreSQL community."

Does this imply that competition exists between to US pg community and others?

We could say "Supporting PostgreSQL: the world's most vibrant database
community"

Probably, I don't know that is a bad thing though. Competition could
breed involvement. Another option would be:

Supporting the world's largest PostgreSQL community.

I like, "Supporting the world's most vibrant PostgreSQL community."

We can claim to be vibrant, someone else can claim to be bright, or
glaring :P

Or:

Supporting the vibrant U.S. PostgreSQL community

True. :-) However, I am sure that all of us can agree that
highlighting PostgreSQL's community as superior to all of RDBMS'
communities isn't a bad thing. Infact we in US PostgreSQL community,
are proud to be a major part of the global PostgreSQL community.
