OSCON: Application submitted for booth
* We also have a room at OSCON. Talk to Selena about what's going on
there.

LWE: Application submitted and approved.
* We also have a room here and we are having a USPA day. I am contact
for this. Right now the idea is to have some talks, some social and
possibly (up to JoshB and David Fetter) a SFPUG meeting.

SFPUG can (and should, since we know the local speakers) manage booking the
talks. 10am to 5pm?

I'd suggest that, since the whole day will be pretty much an SFPUG meeting,
that we have a drinks & social hour in the evening. Again, I can handle
booking this and recruit some sponsors. Any argument about offering to
display sponsor names in the PostgreSQL booth at LWE?

The current plan was to have a PGDay via the Conference project that
would take talk submissions and have a talk committee in a similar plan
as to how West was run last year. Followed by a SFPUG meeting that
SFPUG would obviously manage.

Well, if you're eager to spend your time on something which could be
completely delegated to others, why not?

However, there are currently no SF people on the PGDay committee used
for West, so we'll need a new committee.

Right, nor East. The organizing committee volunteers rotate based on
availability, willingness and whether they have done it before. We like
to bring in new blood when we can.
