All,

First off, Jay Barrow from EnterpriseDB has offered to cover food costs.
I'll be making vegetarian food, and Richard will be doing something
Cajun. So food is taken care of except for setup/cleanup help.

Yaaay EnterpriseDB!

Here's the remaining things we'll need for preparation and volunteer-wise:

1) One or two additional set-up volunteers, to show up an hour early at NB.

2) One or two additional clean-up volunteers, to stay after the end of
the test-fest and help clean.

3) Applications to test! If you have an application, private or Open
Source, which you can bring, install, and show other people how to
install, *especially if it has a test suite*, please bring it. If you
share it out on this list, other people can install it too.

4) Other tests: if anyone on this list is a testing geek, then please
share your ideas on how we should test 9.0. I'm not a testing geek ...
I just play one on TV.

See you April 3!

Can NoiseBridge provide Monitors for non-Laptop computers? Or do we need to
bring fully self-contained systems?

There might be some monitors around, but I don't know for certain that
there are.

Dirk, All:

We will have a video link with Japan for the test-fest.

They would prefer that we use "ustream" for the video link, since it
works well in Japan. Is anyone familiar with this service? How can we
set it up?

It's basically the same as stickam.com which we used so far, a flash based video
chat. It should work just the same, I can set up an account with them and we can
announce which accounts we use.

Have you set up an account? I'd like to coordinate with Japan.

My old account doesn't want to work anymore, so I set up a new one. Show
details are found on:

http://www.ustream.tv/channel/postgresql---sfpug

Can't do any more testing right now, since I'm not at home and have my
equipment available, but I have no fears of not being able to set it up
on site.

If people have webcams (or cam-enabled laptops), feel free to bring them
to the event, and then log in to the ustream.tv site. I think the more
cams we have on ustream.tv the better the experience will be.
