Greetings,

I received some positive feedback from people on hosting this month's
meeting at Canvas Cafe so I've gone ahead and posted details at
http://pugs.postgresql.org/sfpug. Hope to see you there!

You should contact Canvas and arrange to reserve one of the galleries.
Finals are not yet over at USF and UCSF, and as a result Canvas is packed to
the gills in the evenings.

From my experience, reserving space requires an in-person visit -- the Canvas
staff never, ever, answer the phone.

Thanks for the head's up. I just talked to them and we have a space
reserved for tomorrow evening at 7 pm.

Did anyone show up for this? How did it go?

I did. It went OK, for a two-person meeting. ;)

Cheers,

Cheers to David for making his way out for this. We had a great
discussion on a variety of current events, including PostgreSQL :)
Canvas Cafe held true to their word on the space but the music was a
bit loud so we took the meeting to a nearby Thai restaurant after
sampling their ale.

Fred,

I've just noticed that the convention announcements on
pugs.postgresql.org/sfpug aren't showing up on the live site. Their status
is "publish", and I even tried rebuilding the site, but no luck. Can you
check this out? Thanks.

Josh,

I took a look at http://pugs.postgresql.org/sfpug/ and I'm seeing two
posts, one for August 4th, and one for July 26th. Maybe there is a
stubborn proxy server between you and the site? Can you try another
location or browser?

Fred

Looks like bad caching. I manually cleared the cache and it's loading now.
Thanks for checking.
