Hi:
I am seeking a local Atlanta resource to assist me in restoring a postgreSQL
database from backup.
The client I am servicing is in Woodstock, but I am sure we can do this
remotely if needed.
This is a one time hit, and I can get some cash for the individual who steps
up to help me.
I have stood up a MAPP stack from Bitnami, have established the PostgreSQL
database on a local windows machine and I have the backup files which appear
to be ASCII files with SQL commands and data. I just cannot get past some of
the assumptions made by the stack builders (default user, passwords, etc) to
run psql at the command line to do a restore.
So, the environment should be good to go, I just need a quick hand in
restoring the tables and all that so I can then move the data out into a
cloud host.
Hope that defines the scope, but I would appreciate any resource you can
make available to me.
Thanks,
Mike Scearce
