We have created a Meetup.com group for the Toronto PostgreSQL users group
and are likely to have a meeting up March 3rd.
See for details

Hi!
I work for Oracle (MySQL Community Manager) based in Toronto. Our
group here is also currently inactive.
If you are still in early days of a reboot, I wonder how you would
feel about being more data storage agnostic?
i.e.
PostgreSQL/MySQL/Filesystems/NoSQL/NewSQL

And leave out SQLite?
Seriously it sounds like a plan ...

SQLite would be open. I would be interested to hear concerns from
embedded developers, as they are often left out.

I'd like to see who actually attends the group and what they want the topics
to focus on. Ultimately the group members get to decide what the group is
about not me or one of the other organizers.
My hope is that PostgreSQL usage in Toronto has grown enough that we can now
support a PostreSQL focussed group. I think there are already other groups
that focus on various NoSQL things.
