There appears to be renewed interest in writing and publishing
PostgreSQL books of late. I have not bought any yet, but the recent
programming, Admin, and High Performance books look interesting.

Anyone have comments on these?

Keith

My only criticisms are

1. their contents are largely a rehash, if not a reprint, of what you find
on postgresql.org/docs, blog or mailing list archive and
2. the PostgreSQL hacker community is so active of late adding incredibly
valuable features that anything you find in print will be obsolete by the
next September when a new release is out.

I don't mean to bash any of the authors. The above are problems common to
any printed or ebook publication on open source technologies.

Just my $0.02.
