Hey folks!
There's some discussion going on over on -advocacy about use of the mailing
lists.
http://www.postgresql.org/message-id/54F6399D.5040705@agliodbs.com
This got me curious as to who's still using the list as their primary means
of finding out when the PDXPUG meetings are. I also post announcements on
calagator and on pdxpug.org, which gets propogated by @pdxpug and
@planetpostgres on twitter. We also have an IRC channel (#pdxpug), where
most of the chatter/help hs moved.
Anybody still out there & reading?

I still use and appreciate this list as my primary and most reliable way to
find out about events. Everything else I might miss but this I always get.
Thanks,
Eric

I agree with Eric. I have the recurring event on my calendar, but the
announcement email to this list is how I tend to first learn the
intended topic, which I appreciate.
Thanks,
Jason

I still use this list to get announcements. Seems as that is the only use. We used to have some good technical discussions here.
