Address:
Phelan Building
760 Market St.
4th floor Rm 447

The building is located next door to CompUsa and down the street from
Virgin Records

Bart and Muni riders get off at the Powell st. station and head towards the
water. If you get to the water......you've gone to far. Sorry, I haven't
riden Muni in about 8 years, so I couldn't tell you which one to take.

What time did we want to start?

Sounds like a deal. Wanna post the address?

And I guess we'll order delivery. Anything more interesting than pizza you

can think of?

Any train or bus that passes Union Square on Market Street.

I think 6:30 worked well for people.

I may arrive a little late, having booked myself for a lightning talk
at Oakland Perl Mongers. It seems everything's on Tuesdays...

Cheers,

I should be there, any of the given food choices sound good to me. :)

Folks,

Based on the lack of volunteers for presentations, we're going to
tackle two issues in "round-table discussion" tonight.

1) Using EXPLAIN ANALYZE to improve query execution. Please bring
copies of EXPLAIN ANALYZE output from your worst slow-running queries
and we'll dissect them to see what's wrong. Even better, anyone who
can bring a pg_dump of a problem database on CD is welcome to do so.

2) Improvements, corrections, and features for PL/pgSQL: we have
several people in our group who use PL/pgSQL regularly. Several
people on Hackers have recently pointed out the need to overhaul the
langauge parser and feature set; bring your ideas.

Both of these topics are deferrable if anyone comes equipped with an
actual presentation.

See you tonight!

-Josh Berkus

I thought we were going to upgrade Patrick's system
from 7.2 to 7.3. :-)

Next month I can come up with a presentation--either
extensibility stuff or report writer stuff.

I may miss this meeting tonite (even though I said
I was going to come). Something has come up.
