Hi Greg,

Would you like to meet up and get a drink sometime? Sorry that I
didn't follow through last time - I was pretty sick.

Regards,
Peter

Same here.

I'll be traveling until May 2nd. How about sometime between then and
pgcon which is two weeks later?

Maybe May 6th?

May 6th is fine. I suggest we keep it simple and go to a city centre pub.

I should be around on 6 May as it's a Thursday and I'm teaching in
Maynooth that day. Let me know what you arrange and I'll fall in with it.

Well, I suggest we meet up at about 6.30 and go to any one of a number
of city centre pubs - I don't know their names, but there's plenty to
choose from.

Greg's gmail chat status is "in mtv". I suspect a plume of volcanic
ash has kept him there. I'll go out if either Alex or Greg will.
Otherwise, we might as well stay in Kildare, right Ray?

Peter

Makes sense. I'll be in Maynooth earlier in the day in any case.

Thanks for forwarding it to the guys! I did press the wrong button.
The message should have gone out to everybody.

Any chance we can schedule something during a weekend? Weekends tend
to be easier to manage.

Regards,
Alex.

Sure, but it was Greg who originally named May 6th, which happened to
be a Thursday, which happened to suit Ray who is only near Dublin on
Thursdays. So, if we're going to meet up at the weekend, it'll just be
ourselves.

Peter

I'm actually back, just, but still jetlagged. However, a conflict has
arisen. The conflict is also at a pub though.... The Bull & Castle
near, well, the castle. Two pub events may be beyond me tonight, but
I'll try to make it to say hi if I'm still awake.

Uh, this is a big mess now :-)

Myself and Ray have already agreed to meet in Maynooth, Co.Kildare
later. However, he's going into the city anyway, so I guess we could
do it there, and maybe meet up with you (although I'm hesitant to do
that given your circumstances). He is currently only contactable my
phone, so he won't read this until tonight at the earliest. I am
separately meeting Alex on Saturday.

Do you think you could manage to meet with us on Saturday Greg? That
might be preferable.

Regards,
Peter

Alright. I think we should go to a cafe or something if we're going
out on a Saturday night - busy pubs are best avoided. Actually, it
might not be a bad idea to get a proper meal.

What do you guys think?

Well, I don't have a strong preference, but if it's all the same to
you two, I find a restaurant on Georges street called Soho to be quite
good. I probably should book ahead since we're going on a Saturday,
just in case.

I'll do my best. Fell completely wrecked last night with high
temperature and fever. Must have picked up from my kid who was ill all
week. Trying to fix it with elephant doses of Lemsip.

Sorry, guys! The last thing I want is to let you down after you re-
scheduled this meeting.

Alex.
